This sickness in our house is just lingering! I seem to have a sore throat and cough for a week now! I thought moms weren’t allowed to get sick!

I HAVE been sewing some at least this week, I finished up a priscilla and star block in hunter green, now I think I have 24 sets- at least one of each color of my scrap bins but it’s not enough, so I have to go back and make more.

This is still my general idea 🙂 48 blocks so I guess I’m halfway there?!

I also added the binding to 5 quilts, after that I cleaned out my machine and found this big dust bunny in there! – “Another one bites the dust”

 

At least it’s not a soot sprite- like this one that Sonja made. It’s from the movie “My neighbor Totoro” by Studio Ghibli

Dan interviewed for one job this week, we’ll see if he gets it. (Solveig also interviewed for a “job” on campus to help the psychology professor- something like a paid internship, at least something that looks good on a resume!)

Dan also tilled a part of our yard, he’s planning on planting watermelon and pumpkin seeds!
