Did you see the Eclipse last Monday?

We stayed home and watched the partial one- I think it was 70%, still got dark

Solveig was able to take this picture and send it to us

This one was MY Eclipse 🙂

Bjorn actually drove with coworkers to Ohio and saw it 100% and said it was the coolest thing he’s ever experienced!

The last one was here on his birthday in August 2017 and I think ours was 90% or something like that, but 100 is amazing!

He texted us this picture.

While Bjorn was away he finally got an IKEA order delivered and Dan and I (and Sonja) put together a bed and dresser for him.

He’s lived the bachelor life of sleeping on his couch for probably the last 9 months! Or a mattress on the floor, but now we also got him a full sized mattress and I made the bed for him as he was coming home around 2-3 am Tuesday morning.

Sonja made cookies this week- we ran out of powdered sugar so some of them only got outlined, and the first batch was baked too long- stupid recipe was WAY wrong! plus it didn’t say how thick to roll it out for.

Last weekend when Solveig was home she got out her old Bow and Arrow we got her years ago when Hunger Games was really popular, but she was too little to actually pull the string, so we put it away and now, this semester at Meredith, she’s taking an Archery class, so she had an easy time shooting this at home, but the arrows got shot into the grass and because they were so fast, some disappeared! Maybe we’ll find them after Dan mows?!

The girls and I have been sort of sick all week too, not too bad, but sick enough to not do much, and Anja had a fever for a few days too, it’s just colds, but lingering…..
