It’s time for another block for the BOM
This time I chose the Orange block on the bottom row.
Again the blocks are all 10″ Fin and are made with the 8″ QUBE (or whatever QUBE set you want to use) and I’ll provide rotary cutting for the 10″ sized blocks.
This orange block uses 3 different orange fabrics and the white background fabric, I’ll call the orange fabric A, B and C
From A cut 12 triangles with die #5 (6–2 7/8″ squares cut diagonally)
From B cut 4 triangles as above AND cut 4 with die #2 (2 1/2″ squares)
From C cut 1 of die #2 as above
From White cut 8 of #5 triangles and 8 of #2 squares
Then sew 8 HSTs together with A and white and 4 with A and B orange fabrics.
Then start sewing the block together like this 4 sets of B and White squares, A/White HSTs with White squares, A/White HSTs and A/B HSTs.
Then sew 4 corner sections together like this
and then the block like this with the C orange square in the middle
