Another busy week!
Another busy week, we did 4 appointments/errands with my in-laws this week, Solveig got a haircut and last weekend was super busy!
Last Saturday we went to see the Nutcracker Ballet, Sonja’s friend and big sister danced in it, it was really cute! I don’t think I’ve seen the whole thing before, only bits and pieces so I wasn’t sure how the story went, the dancers did a great job!
Then Sunday was our church’s Christmas party and talent show, and Dan played his bass on stage- he has terrible stage fright and he did GREAT! people were cheering and excited!
On Monday we got an Omaha Steak order from my in-laws, it was packed on dry ice, so we turned that into a little science experiment and added water to the cooler
Then with potholders I moved the dry ice to a contained and we added water and saw it smoke some more, it was really neat. The girls liked to spritz water on it to make it smoke more.
I’ve had SOME time sewing and I like to listen to Audio books while I sew, often I listed to historical fiction but the last two books were psychological thrillers, both GREAT books!
“Then she was gone” is about a teenage girl vanishing in London and the police thought she was a runaway and it ruined the family.
“The silent Patient” is about a woman artist who shot and killed her husband and then instead of jail she goes to a mental hospital and a psychologist is trying to figure out why she did it. There’s so many twists in this one, it was great!
