We got drawer/cabinet pulls for the kitchen! SO NICE!!!
Who knew that picking drawer pulls would be so stressful! Going back and forth figuring out what matches the stove and what we like and in shiny chrome!
Hubby has been experimenting with sour dough bread lately, my friend at church gave us a bit of “starter” and the first few loaves were flat and some were burnt on the bottom, this one is probably the best one so far, it’s SUCH a science!!
The kitchen remodel is coming along, we got the new Kitchen window delivered but it means to but into our HOUSE to install, so that’s a bit nerve wrecking! and then we had the hurricane/ tropical storm hit NC too, not too bad near us actually, it was more rainy and stormy Tuesday night, then the storm really hit Wednesday afternoon and night but we didn’t lose power.
I’ve been long arm quilting quite a lot but I’m having problems with my machine, so I called the SHOP where I got it (and were I’ve taught a few times) and thought I might need a new encoder! Going side to side I’d get longer stitches and I looked under the machine and it just wasn’t tight and “clicking” into place like the encoder was going front to back. AND I get wobbly stitches, plus I get tight stitches on the back too no matter how loose I have the tension.

The one in the back – under the machine didn’t have this tension wire and bracket thingy…. so I went by the shop and got a matching encoder like the side one and installed that and the guy looked at my bobbin case and it looked fine, so at least I saved $$ with that!
the stitches HAVE improved but aren’t perfect YET, I still get wobbly stitches, I’ll clean the rails and wheels more and check belts before I start another quilt!
