2023 quilt project list week 25

Anja and I are back from Arkansas and we’re knee deep in a kitchen remodel! I took way too many pictures on the trip, so I think I’ll do a post about that next week instead.

I WILL show these shirts we made, my friend Laura has a Silhouette die cutting thingy for vinyl, she had showed me a shirt with flowers representing the months her kids were born and asked me to bring some plain shirts and we could do different stuff one of the nights. Here’s MY garden…. August, October, August, November representing my kids 🙂

I thought this was cute too

and a COFFEE shirt! I actually brought Laura a bunch of fabrics from my bolts – the rest of the patriotic fabrics and a few others and she laughed and said “you speak my love language” it’s a running joke we have as we both read the book about love languages some years ago and just compared what we thought each other’s were and husband’s etc…. we don’t take it literally but parts of the book made sense, anyways….

I saw a cute unicorn design on her computer so we made a Pixy shirt for Anja (and a matching one for her daughter- you’ll see next week)

I haven’t gotten a ton of sewing done this week either, unpacking, laundry, helping hubby with the kitchen and Bjorn got HIS wisdom teeth pulled out Monday too! Now both him and Solveig are done with that! Bjorn is not working anymore until he starts his new job at Deutsche Bank where his first week is in London in July!
