Last weekend we did an Easter Egg Hunt in town and Sonja got to meet the Easter Bunny, we had walked by it before and the kids commented on it being kinda creepy, then after the egg hunt we walked by it again and it waved her over, so we were obligated to take a picture. LOL
Then during the weekend, I think last Saturday my MIL called that she had left the grocery store parking lot and then accidentally hit a truck with a box sticking out of it, no damage to the truck but to her car (ours), we looked at it Sunday and it looked fixable, so I figured out where to get it fixed and told her I’d pick up the car Tuesday, so she had Monday to run errands
Then Tuesday I called her with a time for me to get the car and she said she had another accident in their parking lot, she had backed out and hit another truck….. So Dan and I both drove over to look at it, not too bad, but still…… 2 accidents in 3 days. She blames it on stress as she’s having heart surgery in May! She’s also 92! so….. we’re getting the car fixed and putting it in “time out” until after the surgery and then we’ll talk about her driving or not… of course she didn’t tell grandpa! (my FIL)
Wednesday we went to Bennett Place with our homeschool group
Otherwise it’s been Spring Break for us this week.
