What a busy week!
Last Friday I was meeting with my friend at a coffee shop, we had JUST ordered our coffees and then my mother-in-law called that we had to take grandpa to the hospital because he had fluid on the lungs or the heart, I went over and took them to the hospital and we found out he had a silent heart attack, his only symptoms were swollen ankles! He’s 96 and had dementia so that was the hardest part, he wanted to leave all the time or take his IV out of his arm, started yelling at a nurse late at night after they got moved to a room, but then he got discharged the next day, though his BP was very low, he’s doing better now but he still needs an echo-cardiogram as they did a small one and saw heart damage. I’m sure there’s more cardiologist appointments and treatments still.
This week we also got a propane tank buried in the back yard and then a generator will be hooked up to it and gas will go to the house and grill.
Â
And look at this thing I got at the emporium! perfect for my patterns! I might actually drag it back there and have my patterns for sale there, we’ll see.
the BIGGEST news this week but that Bjorn started his new job at PNC bank as a personal banker!
8.30-5 every week day and then two days a week he does jujitsu and he was out with friends another day so I feel like I haven’t seem him all week, it’s almost like he’s not living here- soon enough he’ll find his own place, but we don’t mind as long as he’s working and saving money, but the girls really want their own rooms back! But maybe they have to wait for Solveig to go to college, then Anja can get her own room back and we can redo Solveig’s room to a guest room or something so Bjorn can stay there and then Anja goes in Sonja’s room if Solveig comes come, we’ll see.

Hoping your Grandpa improves. I did not know you can bury propane tanks, but what a great idea.
Your quilts are such good advertisements for your patterns!! 🙂 I especially like your rainbow nine patch and the log cabin one.
I purchased an Accuquilt last year and have barely used it. I have thought about selling it on Marketplace, but I keep seeing bloggers like you using it and thinking maybe I should give it another go instead of ignoring it.
what dies do you have? find a pattern for those dies and give it a go! (pun intended)
Congrats to Bjorn and I hope your grandpa gets better. Sounds like you have been busy. Is your area all electric? Is that why you are putting in the propane tank? We had one at our last house in the country and also down on the river but didn’t bury them.
thanks, we’re here to take care of my in-laws (Grandpa and Grandma)
So hard to take care of elderly parents! Hugs!
The kids are growing fast! Congrats to Bjorn for landing that bank job! 🙂
