2023 Project list week 9

It’s March already!

last weekend Solveig and I went to a theater, because she’s taking a drama class and is required to watch a LIVE show/play/theater and write about or analyze it, at first she sent me links to ARENA shows that were $200 for the worst seats, but then she found this and it was $50 total for both of us! It’s about Billie Holiday and her life, pretty much a “one-man(woman) show” though there were musicians on stage too but the lady playing Billie Holiday did a great job, would sing, then talk about her life, then grab a “drink” and as the show went on she got more and more drunk. It was good and sort of depressing, if you don’t know Billie Holiday’s story, google it, it’s fascinating! It was supposed to be in the 50s and 60s and you can imagine what it was like if she performed in the south!

Solveig and I laughed that we were the youngest in the crowd by far! but that’s ok

Spring seems to have sprung this week, it was shorts and T-shirt weather most days, trees are blooming and bees are buzzing!

We’re still doing school and I got Anja these pencil grips from Amazon and hope it will help her penmanship at least it teaches her how to hold the pencil right!
