Last weekend we went to a fall fest for our church, the Youth were in charge of games and the kids played, got candy, hotdogs and the parents chatted, it was nice 🙂 Solveig and Sonja made their costumes, Solveig is Snufkin from Moomin Valley (google it! Moomin Valley is a Finnish/Swedish cartoon about some hippos and this woodsy character- what Solveig was dressed up as), Anja was happy being a Unicorn, we found some horns and a tail at Walmart and she already had a Unicorn jacket, Sonja made her costume it’s a furry she created, we ordered a dinosaur mask on Amazon -it actually opens it’s mouth when she talks! She painted it, added plastic canvas as eyes, added the fur ears, made mittens and a tail out of some white fur I had which she dyed too! (Don’t tell her she needs to wipe her nose! LOL- it’s a wiggly worm)
I made a few coiled baskets for the Emporium this week and sold 2 already 🙂
This week we did hiking with Co-op, it was the perfect weather!
we collected some dry leaves and at home Anja tried to use her little microscope, I tried to take a picture, it’s hard but the little $20 microscope is great!!
