At the end of last week Dan and I had a date night, it’s been months since we’ve gone out just the two of us and our favorite place is a sushi place that has buy 1 get 1 free rolls, but they are a bit pricey, I think we started going there when this one specific roll was 15.99 or 16.99 and that roll sets the price for us for all the rest of the rolls, now it’s 20.99! We’ve seen the prices creep up over the years too but I think it jumped $2 since the last time I was there with my 2 girl friends… Inflation nation!
It was YUMMY though!!
Thursday and Friday we went on a last mini vacation to celebrate Bjorn and Sonja’s upcoming birthdays! we went to Great Wolf Lodge for one night and then when we left Friday morning we went to Ikea!
The older two didn’t think it was AS FUN as they remembered, Sonja was too scared of going on the bigger water slides and mid day Anja got the sniffles, so we went back to the room, and Bjorn and I went back after dinner.
We got a few things at Ikea including this 3 tiered cart for the girls homeschool stuff!
