Last weekend my MIL turned 91! Sonja made her a cake 99% of it without much supervision at all!

(They live in a sort of light blue house with grey roof)

Grandma was happily surprised, we then also had them over for dinner Sunday night (the cake was Saturday so Bjorn could come along too and sing her happy birthday, him and Solveig has a birthday party to attend Saturday so he was home for the weekend but left Sunday after church)

One of our neighbors’ dog had puppies and we got to play and pet them too last weekend, 5 x 4week old labradoodles, they were SO cute!

It’s already May! Solveig has just one class left on Monday and then she’s on summer break, Bjorn has finals this coming week and me and the girls have 3 or 4 weeks left I think.

We have guests from Singapore coming this weekend (they have family in LA but wanted to come to NC and visit us too and see UNC where she studied when we met and then her fiancee is with her, so we’ll be busy this weekend.

I’m working on so many different things right now and more coming, so I’m not doing so many blog posts as I normally would.

Here’s a picture of my work table! There’s about 4 projects going at once!! at least 3 will be new patterns.

and guess what, my new Rowenta iron started leaking after not even 2 months!! unbelievable!! I contacted the seller on Amazon and they are sending a replacement, but if this happens again I’ll contact Rowenta, I expected it to last longer than that!! It leaked out of two places, first at this little hole and then later under the sole plate, frustrating!!
