I’ve shown a big of progress on this puzzle on IG, I got this puzzle when CT publishing has the B1G1 puzzle and puzzle #2 haven’t gotten here yet and I don’t know which one it is….. anyways, the quality is REALLY good! nice thick sturdy pieces and I had a lot of fun putting this together over several days, of course when it’s a subject I LOVE then it makes it easier I guess, you can see the progress below.
This week I also made my “quickest ever” quilt!
Last year I had submitted an idea to Island Batik for a design for their new catalog and one got picked, then I think it was mid December I was supposed to get the fabrics but because the supply chain is messed up (Thanks Biden!) IB wasn’t getting the fabrics, so they were REALLY delayed, I got most of them a bit over a week ago but one fabric was missing! so I emailed them and the deadline for having a quilt in their hands was last Friday (actually now I think it’s mid this week) but anyways they send the missing 1/2yd of fabric, I got it Wednesday afternoon in the mail, cut everything up- I didn’t bother washing this ONE fabric, sewed it together that afternoon and early evening, quilted it before dinner, then Thursday morning I added the binding, took a few pictures and shipping it off to them before the mail lady go to us Thursday afternoon! So that was a 24hr turnaround! now it wasn’t a huge quilt, it was 32″ x 32″, but still!! Hope I get lots of pattern orders from that!
