2022 Project list week 14

Spring is here (well it looks like we’ll still have a few nights of frost, so no planting yet)

Sonja had to skip a few horse lessons lately, so it’s been over a month since she’s done it, it was nice to do it in the warmer weather and we rose our bikes down and back- oh my BEHIND hurt for 3 days! I’m NOT used to riding a bike!!

We make pizza about once a week- on the grill! This time the girls wanted a heart pizza, to me it looks more like a pac-man! LOL

And I surprised the kids with a new joy-con for the Nintendo switch, they had each shown me which one they’d prefer of the off-brand types and this one I thought was really cute with cat paw prints all over it!

We also did a scouting co-op this week and Anja tags along and this time spent some time playing with their guinea pig outside.

I helped build a fort for Sonja’s room the other day too and Swiffer loves to play with Sonja’s feet or whatever he thinks it is!

I’ve refrained from posting political rants on here for quite a while but I feel like I still have to post this, it’s just about our lives and how this all affects us personally, so just scroll if you don’t want to read it.

Did Covid really end? It seems like it as the news shifted over to overseas.

Here in NC the restrictions are mostly gone and what is upsetting is that Hubby had to jump thru all these hoops to get a religious exemption or rather an accommodation to work from home still and had a VERY invasive interview with HR back in January, he got allowed to work from home more but his keycard got deactivated so even if he wanted to go in, he couldn’t because he’s “dirty” like a low 2nd class citizen! Then a short while later they opened up on the office and most people had to go back in, but not him, he continued to work from home, which is GREAT because he wakes up at like 5am and works then, where the office is 8-5 or whatever, now this week he’s been told he has to go into the office starting June 1st! No restrictions, pretend like nothing happened, that he didn’t get harassed or anything. With the gas prices too (LGB!) he’s not happy about it after all the hell they put him thru for months or not knowing if he had a job because he didn’t take the jab! It’s frustrating to say the least. Well hopefully the Lord will show us if he’s supposed to stay or not.
