It’s beginning to feel more like spring or early summer, the weather is cold some days, then hot other days or raining and then sunny, typical NC weather! We walk when we can and the other day I brought my phone to take pictures:)
Here’s Sonja being all edgy learning to skateboard and her mismatched socks!
We started prepping for another planting science project (5 weeks total) growing beans and corn etc. Here we had to make a simple scale!
The girls also started getting into rocks (which Bjorn was really into when he was little) we have collected lots of rocks, then ordered the polishing powder on Amazon and then found out the belts on our old rock polisher were just too old so I had to order new belts too, anyways, this is after step #1
And Solveig got a new job AND a new haircut last week, she’s VERY happy about her new job instead of working at food lion- which she’s been on leave from since September, this new job is a tiny little store called “oddco” that sells odd stuff, it’s walking distance from the community college so Solveig would walk over there on breaks and browse and talk to the owner (a mom of her former classmate) then after a while, she had spent so much time there, the owner said she might as well work there and get paid for it! She has been making button pins for the store to sell with her own designs and they were doing well and Solveig is artsy and it’s right up her alley to work there! (Now she has brought some of my craft show things to see if they want to sell them there too, though my stuff might be too CUTE! ha ha.
