2021 Quilt project list week 2

Has anyone of you quite FB and you still had a page/business on there or did you quit it all? After this week, I’m SO ready to quite fakebook, but I have my beaquilter page and the QAL I just started in the qube group, so I feel stuck. About 35% of my page views or links to my site are from FB, so I don’t know what to do.

If I worked on the quilt recently it’s in RED

Oh, I took my Facebook Longarm Quilting off recently and I decided to close my Longarming business and learn more about it by taking advanced classes and quilting my quilts. It has given me more time to do my quilts too. I keep Facebook and like it for keeping track of my friends and family in CA and elsewhere. There’s a way to save your Facebook as HTML or some other formats. I did that a month ago and considered leaving due to the election issues. I tried MeWe but found it lacking and didn’t like it much. So I didn’t leave. Instead, I quit following certain groups and people who were very political. I am just not that opinionated. So that’s the lowdown on my experiences. Maybe MeWe might be improved but there wasn’t an easy way to import the FB saved files. I couldn’t find a way at all. So I have 11 years of Facebook memories. That’s nice. I try to look at the good things.

  3. good for you! i quit facebook in November and after a week i was so happy i did so. too much division and hate from faceless keyboard warriors. people seemed comfortable saying things they would never say to your face if your politics differed from what “they” thought was right. really sad 😢

    1. we all have the freedom of speech, the freedom so say what we want and we should be able to agree to disagree, but that’s not the case anymore, it’s very sad. That’s not what I signed up for when I swore in and became a US citizen 3 years ago!
