2021 project list week 45

Where did this week go?? Super busy it seems, I don’t have much sewing time anymore, the time I do have it for making quilts for patterns and preparing fabrics- see the bottom of the list!

For homeschooling Anja just finished a science book about rain forests and Sonja finished some underwater book too so I had them make a poster for each, plus you’ll see the middle poster is about ancient American civilizations.

Part of the rain forest study was to know that many products and produce that we eat are from there, like COCOA! so it had a recipe for a mug cake (I thought it was not that great, but they liked it, what’s not to like about cocoa and sugar, right??

The leaves are changing colors, it’s feeling like fall, I had frost on the car one day this week, but then during the day it’s been getting up to 75! so NOT that FALL yet….. oh and the radio started playing Christmas music!! I’m NOT ready for this yet!!

It’s Anja’s birthday on Monday, we’re having some friends over Sunday evening, just nice and relaxed, nothing big- and it’s Dan’s birthday this coming week too, so we’ll celebrate for him too!
