This week is Co-Op week with our homeschooling and we go to a friend’s house for scouting lessons using this book written by my friend Brittney
Since the beginning of the school year, her and I talked about buttons or patches for the kids when they complete the tasks/chapters in the book, first I was thinking machine embroidery, but then I started thinking about button pins and with Solveig loving to collect those, I ended up buying her that button machine and told her we need to borrow it or she has to help me make these buttons for the co-op, the first chapter we did (I think it’s chapter 10 in the book actually) was about clouds, first we printed some clip art, that wasn’t quite right, then she drew one and it was awesome, but WE needed a dozen or so, so we agreed that doing a digital one was probably better (or scan the drawn one), she ended up using Clip studio paint and made a cloud and I printed it 12 times and she made the buttons!!
Brittney suggested that she sells them for $2 and even make 12 for each of the chapters, then sell the whole set to go with the book!? we’ll see how that goes. 🙂 Maybe in ALL her spare time from Community college and homework and working at Food Lion she can do that! LOL
