2021 Project list week 42

Solveig is having a few friends over today to celebrate her birthday and we’re going to the mall (we NEVER go to the mall) then home for homemade pizza and hanging out.

Here’s a picture from Thursday morning, the night before she had finished her own homemade furby- there’s a big “movement” in making those or changing the bodies and making them long, here it’s “just” a regular size and with a clay face!!

Recently we went to hobby lobby and on the way back we went by a local park and played a bit then walked around looking for mushrooms, there were SO many and so many DIFFERENT ones!

Solveig loves to get little knickknacks at Hobby Lobby and Dan put up a floating shelf for her room for her to display everything, and did you notice the top of a sewing machine there? she has one in her room! (My old purple janome! so a backup to my backup, I guess it’s hers now. LOL)

I bought some fabrics, 2yds chunks for $3 a yard, once I spotted some bolts with that price I picked the ones I liked and figured 2yds was a good amount.

Last weekend Dan and I went out to this fancy dinner to celebrate his old manager’s retirement, we had to be at the restaurant at 7.30 then cocktails then dinner and desserts etc. We’ve never eaten that late and SO much! I had rack of lamb!! it was yummy!! and Cheese cake and creme brule for dessert! We got home at midnight and it was hard to fall asleep on such a full stomach, ha ha!!
