September is almost over and the weather is getting colder! Our morning drives to Solveig’s community college are getting foggy and “glaring”- that point where the sun is so low, the visor doesn’t work! it’s usually only out of our neighborhood then it’s fine after that.
For the first day of fall, I had the girls cut out felt, paper, cardstock etc. with my fall Accuquilt dies and make a little “Autumn” poster.
We often also go for evening walks and Chewy got to sniff and touch noses with a neighboring cow! First she stood away with me and my husband and the girls walked across to see the cows closer and even touch their noses, then Chewy started barking! (Like get off, don’t you dare hurt my family!!)
For history with homeschooling we’re learning about Native Indians and I borrowed Pocahontas from the library and here the girls fell asleep watching #2. (Of course this is AFTER Sonja read about Pocahontas, because we all know Disney movies can vary a “bit” from the real story)
