2021 Project list week 37

A little update, this week we finally went to our first co-op for homeschooling, a friend at church wrote a book and is teaching scouting, this week it was about weather and looking at clouds to figure out the weather, can you name them all?

Sonja also learned about Limerick poems and wrote this herself.

and I got a little cut happy with my 6in QUBE set and cut out all scraps for my Midnight Stars pattern

For the background I chose a white print but planned it so each block has it’s own fabric, then there’s brown and black scraps which will also match in each block and then I chose a yellow for the center of the blocks, but two yellows and one of them as a border…. That white print scares me a bit, but we’ll see how it turns out, could be totally fun or totally terrible, but this is a “free” quilt, so it doesn’t matter!

and Kronk is still looking mighty fat and happy, Solveig couldn’t do anymore homework that day!

and here’s a sign of fall!! Have you ever had pumpkin ice cream? I’m not a pumpkin fan but we tried it and it’s JUST like I would imagine pumpkin ice cream would taste like! (still not a fan though)
