It’s the last day of July!
To think of summer, Solveig made this cute sunflower cake, it was a Korean lunch box recipe she found and wanted to try- took her 3hrs! but who cares 🙂
and she has started working at Food Lion (her first day at the register so didn’t even get her uniform shirt yet) and Bjorn is on leave from Food Lion, until Christmas break, though he has 2 weeks until he starts at Wingate, but he never really had time off when his summer started, he started working right away.
Sonja is still doing riding lessons, though it’s SO hot there, I think I’ll switch it to every other week!?
I would like to rant on our Governor and masks and vaccines, but I don’t even know where to start, it’s all so crazy so I’ll leave it alone for now.

Your family is very creative. The cake is wonderful! She should make it to enter in your state fair! Nice that she has a supermarket clerking job. My sister works at Publix in FL and loves it. She is good with people and enjoys the regulars coming through her line. Have a good rest of your summer, Bea!

Cute cake, my son worked in a grocery store as a teenager. He moved on to Joann, paid better. That was 30 years ago. He like Joann, the ladies were impressed with how much he knew about fabric. A lifetime of living with Mom as a quilter. Do you know where I can find an Accuquilt Spreadsheet for dies? Not the app, an actual spreadsheet.
