Another week just flew by!
Last weekend on 4th of July we went into town to see what the town had planned- it was honestly kind of lame, no fireworks but some booths and a band playing and we DID get to talk to the local GOP office- fun for my my husband and I but not the kids. Then our plan was to go back home, meet up with Bjorn and drive to a town called Liberty that puts on fireworks every year, usually the weekend AFTER 4th of July but I had googled and since the 4th was on a Sunday, it said it was ON the 4th, we rushed home, Bjorn changed out of his uniform then rushing down the stairs he WIPED out and hit his leg pretty badly and we thought we’d just stay home but after 30min or so he felt a bit better and we all packed up and headed out to Liberty, drove around and couldn’t find the place, there was NOTHING…. we even asked a random person and she said no it’s next weekend, I looked at my phone again (and btw the GPS could NOT find the streets etc.) then I looked and what I had googled was in Liberty South Carolina! NOT NC!! duh…. I’m such a blonde!! We then drove back home, my husband still felt bad for Bjorn so bought him a McDonald’s meal (also because he had worked all day) and while we were there we saw fireworks, so we pulled over and just stood there in the McDonald’s parking lot and watched fireworks for a bit, kinda odd but it livened the mood a bit for us all.

Sorry for the fiasco you went through, but sounds like you had a good day anyway. Hope Bjorn is okay. Accidents can be very serious, but sounds like he is doing well now. Happy July. We are having a heatwave here at 100 or so, unusual this early, but it will soon be very cold, so we go with the flow, as the saying goes.
