School is officially DONE!! All my kids are home and we’re doing NOTHING!! Not that we did much before, we are pretty “boring”. Sonja’s art class is over but she’ll still have horse riding lessons, it’s up the road, so it’s easy to get to.
Here’s the stack of books we’ve read with Sonlight’s 3rd grade curriculum (and there’s a few missing, some we’re still reading over the summer plus my mother in law has a few)
 
Our local library FINALLY opened up and we went the other day and got books to read over the summer too, Sonja likes the “Warrior” cat books, and I got some simple books to read out loud to Anja and then we got 2 Nancy Drew books, which I’ll read at bedtime or at least for now we also have a morning routine where I read a little bit after breakfast.
Solveig and I enjoy playing Bananagrams together, sometimes she’ll play it by herself, taking one tile at a time (after the initial 21) -and yes Satyr is a word without an E, it’s a mythical creature I think….
Solveig’s school had a pizza party picnic Wednesday evening and that marked the end of school!! We showed up without masks one, it was about fifty fifty split, don’t know if it’s because people are vaccinated, but we’re at a park, so I like to actually breathe fresh air!
