Money, Money, Money!
It’s just one of those weeks. Sigh! I had a referral to a pediatric dentist from our regular dentist for Sonja and Anja (Anja has never been seen but got seen a bit in January but no X-rays and there were concerns) Sonja has been seen and gotten cleanings but now she had cavities too, so finally the Ped. Dentist had an appointment this week and HOLY cow! I feel like a terrible mom! Big $$$ for the work they need done, especially Anja (who’s 5) sigh…..
And then Sonlight had their yearly sale on home-school curriculums so I ordered 4th grade for Sonja and Kindergarten for Anja for next school year. I sometimes feel “guilt” that they are not going to public school but then something happens in the news or locally and I am thankful they are being taught by me and our values etc! It’ll be interesting to juggle 2 kids though, but kindergarten can’t be that hard 😉

Great progress on your list, Bea. Poor babies. I hate going to the dentist because of a bad experience when I was a kid. I hope theirs is better than mine. And I hope the dentist will work with you on the fees. My granddaughter just got out of braces and the twins are probably going to have to have them when they are a little older. Yikes!
Sonlight was my favorite curriculum, by far! No more children at home now. My plan is to read through the books still here, for my own pleasure, from youngest level to oldest level. Then ship a box at a time cross-country to our young grandchildren (who love books second only to Legos). I am a children’s librarian at heart. So it will be a sacrifice on my part to see them leave; but to see the joy on the grands’ faces (in photos), priceless!
