2020 QUBE QOV QAL block 32 CO and 33 MI

It’s time for two more blocks!

The first one is Colorado

a nice two colored block that looks complicated but is not and more of the parallelograms!

For this block you’ll used dies 4,5, and 7 from the 6″ QUBE set still

grab 16 white #5 triangles already cut

grab 4 light blue #4 QSTs already cut

and with light blue and die #7 cut out 8 parallelograms and save 4 for this block (they are all facing the same way)  (for rotary cutting as I’ve mentioned before, try cutting 2″ x 3 1/2″ rectangles then add 2″ squares so the corners and sew diagonally down- or rotary cut 45 degrees from the corners?)

the block is easy to sew, sew flying geese with the blue QST and the white small HSTs and then sew the white HSTs to the blue parallelograms too, making sure they face the right way

sew these together

and then sew the block together like this!
