It’s official! I’m a homeschool mom now!!
After being so disappointed with the school system and school board, I just HAD to do it. I took a while to research curriculums and different friends recommended Sonlight! it’s heavy on books, Sonja likes to read and we were both tired on Zoom meetings, so less on the computer is fine with me! We got a BIG HEAVY box Wednesday and I registered with the NC to homeschool, the website said to apply only within 5 days of planning to start so I figured Monday would be good and I registered and it also said it would take 3-5 days to approve, but I got an approval email within 5 min!
Sonja was so sick of school and Zoom that she wanted to start Thursday so I figured that would be a good “test” day and we did fine and Friday too, so I think we’re getting into a groove already.
Solveig and I have done our 4th clay class and did a few things
I also got a pincushion in the mail this week from my swap partner!
