Some of you have asked about how we’re doing, I’ve been behind on blog reading and haven’t seen how you ALL are doing! I try to limit my FB time as it’s so depressing now or stupid memes which I DO love, but it’s all so weird and surreal.
I’m waiting on our county to be completely shut down that we HAVE to stay at home, what have we been doing the last 2 weeks anyways? Our governor just did this starting Monday at 5pm but there seem to be lots of loop holes. did my grocery run two weeks ago and have only gone to the pharmacy for my in laws, Dan did go to Aldi the other day as he has to go into the IBM worksite for a delivery but wore a mask and gloves and didn’t touch things. We’ve had painters here for the last week and a half, painting the outside of our house and trim- everything! next we need a new roof (insurance pays for it) which is the reason we decided to paint too, the house needed it and we didn’t want to do the roof first and then have painters walk all over it or use ladders on it, anyways stage #1 is done.
Before all this started too I had 4 quilts planned for Accuquilt, one is done already and #2 is in the works and #3 and 4 I just got the fabrics for! (I think luckily before warehouses are closing too) So that’s keeping me busy.
But what’s also keeping me busy? my kids are at home! they are usually doing their own thing but my 2nd grader does need some homework help so that’s totally cramping my style. LOL….. I’m kidding, it’s fine just slowing me down, but that’s ok, it seems like the whole world has slowed down to a crawl.
But I seem to still get stuff done and also there’s blog hops and shop hops going on that I had to jump on, so I actually have blog posts scheduled out for at least 2 weeks.

We did get a new game too called codenames it’s a lot of fun! You have this grid of 5×5 words then a pattern on a card for your team and you need to tell you team name what words are on your card but you CAN’T say the words, so you have to say code names instead and it’s better if you give a clue to your team that will help them guess more than one name on their turn…. We played one game and Bjorn was down to the last two words which were CARROT and STATE and he gave the clue FARM……. I about died laughing, I wasn’t on his team, but it was so funny- his team didn’t get it, but I did…. LOL

Well, now…this is a motivating post…so much you have done!! I was going to take my machine onto the screened in porch today, but the thick yellow pollen from the pine trees is everywhere…afraid it will mess with my machine It was a good idea that you put your quilt show up for us..I struggle to focus at this time xo
