Today’s block is JUST a flying geese block (x8)
Flying geese are used in SO many quilts and there’s many techniques on how to make the perfect ones, I love how easy they are to make with the GO QUBE sets! and that the dog ears are cut off!!
For these flying geese you’ll need fabrics B and E and dies #4 and #5
cut out (16) of #5 in fabric E
and (8) of shape #4 in fabric B (that’s only two layers on all the sets except the 9” QUBE set)
I’ve shown before how to sew the flying geese together, it’s easy!- iron the seams open
make 8 of them like this
Now sew (2) sets of 3 together into a row like this and leave the remaining two as singles
